Direct Marketing is a form of communication that sends its personalized messages directly to potential prospects on an individual basis, as compared to sending them through mass media. This form of marketing concentrates on establishing, maintaining and enhancing a long-term direct relationship with prospects. All feedback, responses and details resulting from this relationship are stored in prospects databases to be further analyzed and measured. Based on results, businesses can then adjust their products, services and communications to suit the purchase behaviors and needs of their target audience which will eventually lead to greater returns.

Direct marketing has represented the revolution of Marketing in this last decade.
